First Horizon National (FHN) Appoints Velia Carboni to its Board

First Horizon Corporation (NYSE: FHN) today announced the election of Velia Carboni, 54, to the First Horizon Board of Directors.

Carboni has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Technology Officer of VF Corporation ("VF"), a provider of branded lifestyle apparel, footwear and accessories, since 2018. At VF, she is responsible for the integration of digital and technology capabilities across all aspects of the company's business, leads the company's digital strategies and oversees VF's analytics function.

We have seen firsthand the value of her experience in digital innovation and strategies, technology, cyber security, customer experience and data analytics having served as a member of First Horizon's Technology Advisory Board since its inception in 2019," said Bryan Jordan, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Horizon. "She will be instrumental in helping guide the significant investments we are making in technology and process improvements to remain at the forefront of our clients' needs."

Carboni is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council. Prior to joining VF, Ms. Carboni spent more than 20 years at Fidelity Investments, where she held a series of leadership roles, most recently serving as senior vice president of mobile and emerging platforms for the company's personal investing/retail division.
