Entegris, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENTG) announced several changes to its board of directors, including the appointment of Robert A. Bruggeworth, President and Chief Executive Officer of Qorvo, effective August 3, 2026.

Bertrand Loy, who currently serves as Executive Chair of the Entegris board, will retire from the company on July 31, 2026. James F. Gentilcore, currently the Lead Independent Director, will assume the role of Chair of the Board upon Loy's departure. The changes will bring the total number of board members to eight.

Loy's retirement follows Dave Reeder's appointment as CEO in 2025, which the company described as the completion of its CEO succession plan. Loy previously served as President and CEO of Entegris for 13 years.

Bruggeworth has served as President and CEO of Qorvo since 2015. Prior to Qorvo's formation through the merger of RF Micro Devices and TriQuint Semiconductor, he served as President and CEO of RF Micro Devices for nearly 10 years. He also serves as Chairman of MSA Safety Incorporated and holds board positions at Qorvo and the Semiconductor Industry Association.

"His corporate leadership and board experience, as well as his deep expertise in the semiconductor and electronic connectivity solutions industries, will bring valuable perspectives to the Board," Gentilcore said in a statement.
