Employers Holdings adds former Hartford executive to its board

Employers Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EIG) announced that Stephanie C. Bush was elected to its board of directors on June 25, 2026, with her term beginning July 1, 2026.
Bush retired from The Hartford Insurance Group in March 2024 after more than 30 years in roles spanning sales, underwriting, and product management. Her most recent position there was Executive Vice President and Head of Small Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance. From 2008 to 2012, she served as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Travelers Personal Insurance before returning to The Hartford in 2013.
Katherine Antonello, President and Chief Executive Officer of Employers Holdings, said Bush's "perspective on small commercial lines and her broad experience across the industry will be a tremendous asset to EMPLOYERS as we continue to grow and serve our policyholders."
Bush currently serves on the insurance advisory board for Lightyear Capital and on the boards of CUNA Mutual Holding Company (TruStage), Costero Holdings Limited, Costero Brokers Limited, and Easterseals Midwest. She previously chaired the board of the National Council on Compensation Insurance. Bush holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
Employers Holdings is a Reno, Nevada-based holding company whose subsidiaries provide workers' compensation insurance and related services, primarily to small and mid-sized businesses.
