Emerita Resources names two new directors, two resign

Emerita Resources Corp. (TSXV: EMO) (OTCQX: EMOTF) (FSE: LLJA) has appointed Oscar Cabrera and Peter McRae to its board of directors, effective September 16, 2026, according to a company statement.
At the same time, Catherine Stretch and Marilia Bento resigned as directors on the same date. Their departures followed the results of the company's annual general and special meeting of shareholders held August 25, 2026, and an internal organizational and governance review. The resignations were tendered under the company's Majority Voting Policy.
Cabrera has over 25 years of experience as an equity analyst covering metals and mining for institutions including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch Canada, and CIBC World Markets. He currently serves as an independent director and chair of DynaResource Inc. and previously held the same role at Sierra Metals Inc. He holds an MBA from York University, an M.Eng. in Structural Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
McRae has more than 15 years of corporate, commercial, and legal experience. He previously served as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of U.S. Silver and Gold, and was formerly an attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York. He is a member of the New York and Ontario Bars and holds a certificate in Mining Law.
Emerita is a mineral exploration and development company focused on properties in Spain, with a corporate office in Sevilla and an administrative office in Toronto.
