Defence Therapeutics refines ADC strategy with advisory board input

Defence Therapeutics Inc. (CSE: DTC) (FSE: DTC) (OTCQB: DTCFF) held a Scientific Advisory Board meeting on January 30, 2026, to advance its Accum platform for antibody-drug conjugate applications.



The Montreal-based biotechnology company brought together advisors with expertise in ADC chemistry, experimental design, translational science, and partnering strategy. The meeting focused on identifying critical scientific questions and aligning data generation with expectations of future clinical and pharmaceutical partners.



"The insights shared by our advisors are directly informing how we design our next studies, ensuring that we generate the data that matter most to advance Accum toward the clinic and position the platform for meaningful partnerships," said Maxime Parisotto, Chief Scientific Officer of Defence Therapeutics.



The advisory board includes Rob Leanna, who has ADC development experience from AbbVie; Danny Chui, who contributed translational science insights from work at Zymeworks, Abdera Therapeutics, and Kairos Therapeutics; and Brendan Hussey, who provided perspective on value creation and partnering strategy.



The company stated it is refining its Accum ADC development roadmap to align platform capabilities with clinical development requirements and partnering considerations. Defence Therapeutics describes its Accum platform as a precision drug delivery system designed to enhance the potency of ADCs and other complex biologics.
