Defence Therapeutics names Dr. Amie Phinney to board of directors

Defence Therapeutics Inc. (CSE: DTC) (FSE: DTC) (OTCQB: DTCFF) appointed Dr. Amie Phinney to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a company statement.



Dr. Phinney, who holds a PhD and MBA, recently served as a strategy and business advisor to the Montreal-based biotechnology company. Defence Therapeutics specializes in drug delivery technologies and is developing antibody-drug conjugate products using its proprietary platform.



"Amie has already made a strong impact in shaping our strategic priorities," said Sébastien Plouffe, founder and CEO of Defence Therapeutics. "Her experience spanning global pharma, biotech ventures, and commercialization will be invaluable as we continue building momentum."



Dr. Phinney stated she was honored to join the board and looked forward to supporting the company's growth.



The company granted Dr. Phinney 100,000 incentive stock options under its Omnibus Incentive Plan. The options vest immediately and are exercisable at $0.75 per share for three years from the grant date.



Defence Therapeutics is a clinical-stage company that uses its ACCUM technology platform to enable precision delivery of antibody-drug conjugates to target cells. The technology is designed to deliver these products in their intact form to increase efficacy and potency against cancer.
