Danaos Corporation (NYSE: DAC) announced that William Repko has resigned from the company's board of directors, effective October 13, 2025.
The containership owner stated that Repko's resignation was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the company or its board regarding operations, policies or practices.
The board of directors maintains a majority of independent directors and has not determined whether to alter the board size or fill the vacancy, according to the company's statement.
Charalampos Pampoukis has been appointed to the audit committee of the board of directors to fill Repko's vacancy, effective October 13, 2025.
Danaos operates a fleet of 74 container vessels totaling 471,477 TEUs and has 18 container vessels under construction aggregating 148,564 TEUs. The Athens-based company has also invested in the dry bulk sector with 10 capesize vessels totaling 1,760,861 DWT.
