Damora Therapeutics names Jennifer Jarrett as CEO, adds board members

Damora Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: DMRA) announced Jennifer Jarrett will serve as president and chief executive officer effective March 30, 2026. The biotechnology company also appointed two new board members and named Peter Harwin as chairman.



Jarrett brings nearly three decades of experience in corporate strategy, finance, and drug development. She previously served as chief operating officer of Arcus Biosciences, where she also held roles as chief financial officer and board member. Before Arcus, she worked as vice president of corporate development and capital markets at Uber Technologies Inc. and as chief financial officer at Medivation, which developed prostate cancer treatment XTANDI before Pfizer acquired the company.



Jarrett spent 20 years in investment banking, including running Citigroup's west coast life sciences practice. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.



The company appointed Cameron Turtle, chief executive officer of Spyre Therapeutics, and Mike Landsittel, former chief financial officer of Blueprint Medicines, to its board of directors. Turtle previously served as venture partner at Foresite Labs and chief strategy officer at BridgeBio Pharma. Landsittel led strategic finance functions at Blueprint Medicines for more than a decade through the company's acquisition by Sanofi.



Peter Harwin, founding partner at Fairmount Funds Management LLC, was named chairman of the board. Three directors departed: Carl Goldfischer, Jayson Dallas, and Amit Munshi.



Damora focuses on developing treatments for blood disorders, specifically targeting mutant calreticulin-driven myeloproliferative neoplasms. The company plans to advance multiple programs into clinical development in 2026, according to the press release.
