Dakota Gold appoints Brian Iverson to board of directors

Dakota Gold Corp. (NYSE American: DC) announced the appointment of Brian G. Iverson to its board of directors, effective immediately. The company stated the appointment in a press release.
Iverson currently serves as general counsel and senior vice president of regulatory and public policy for TXNM Energy, a NYSE-listed utility holding company. He leads the company's legal operations along with regulatory, governmental, tribal, supply chain and internal audit functions.
Iverson previously held executive roles at Black Hills Corporation (NYSE: BKH) during a 20-year tenure, including senior vice president and general counsel, and senior vice president of regulatory and government affairs. He also serves as an independent director at RESPEC, contributing to audit and compensation committees.
"His deep expertise in corporate strategy, capital markets, legal oversight, regulatory affairs and the local political landscape in South Dakota will be valuable as we continue to build a company focused on responsible exploration, strong governance, and long-term value creation," said Co-Chairs Dr. Robert Quartermain and Dr. Stephen O'Rourke.
Iverson holds a juris doctor degree, MBA and bachelor of science in business administration and accounting from the University of South Dakota. He is a NACD Board Leadership Fellow and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Dakota Gold operates exploration projects in South Dakota's Homestake District, including the Richmond Hill and Maitland Gold Projects located on private land.
