Cumulus Media names Carol Flaton to board, Joan Hogan Gillman resigns

Cumulus Media Inc. (OTCQB: CMLS) appointed Carol Flaton to its Board of Directors, effective January 15, 2026. The appointment follows the resignation of Joan Hogan Gillman from the board, also effective January 15.

Flaton brings over 30 years of experience in financial services and governance to the Atlanta-based audio media company. She previously held managing director positions at AlixPartners and Lazard, where she advised companies, investors, and boards on financial and strategic matters.

Currently, Flaton serves on multiple public and private company boards, including as an independent director of QVC Group, Inc., where she sits on the Audit and Compensation Committees. She holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Delaware.

"She brings more than three decades of experience in financial services and governance, along with a strong track record of advising companies and serving on boards across a wide range of industries," said Chairman Andrew W. Hobson in a statement.

Gillman served on Cumulus Media's board for eight years. Hobson thanked her for her "dedicated service and valuable contributions during her tenure on the Board."

Cumulus Media operates 395 radio stations across 84 markets and provides nationally-syndicated programming through Westwood One, according to the company's statement.
