Couche-Tard elects all 16 director nominees at annual meeting

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (TSX: ATD) announced that all 16 director candidates proposed in its management proxy circular were elected at its annual shareholder meeting held September 3, 2025.

The convenience store operator reported that each nominee received majority support from shareholders, though voting results varied significantly among candidates. Stephen Harper received the highest approval rate at 99.65%, while Mélanie Kau had the lowest at 72.83% with 27.17% of votes withheld.

Other notable voting results included Louis Vachon at 99.45% approval, Marie Josée Lamothe at 99.62%, and company founder Alain Bouchard at 96.38%. Louis Têtu received 86.47% support with 13.53% of votes withheld.

The complete board includes Alain Bouchard, Louis Vachon, Jean Bernier, Karinne Bouchard, Eric Boyko, Marie-Eve D'Amours, Janice Fields, Eric Fortin, Richard Fortin, Stephen Harper, Mélanie Kau, Marie Josée Lamothe, Monique Leroux, Alex Miller, Réal Plourde, and Louis Têtu.

Couche-Tard operates approximately 17,300 stores across 29 countries and territories, with about 13,200 locations offering road transportation fuel. The company employs approximately 149,500 people throughout its network under the Couche-Tard and Circle K banners.
