Colabor Group director Robert Johnston resigns from board
Colabor Group Inc. (TSX: GCL) announced that Robert Johnston has resigned from his position as director of the company, according to a press release issued Thursday.
Denis Mathieu, interim chairman of the board of directors, acknowledged Johnston's departure in a statement. "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Johnston for his leadership, valuable expertise, and the meaningful contributions he has made to the Board throughout his tenure," Mathieu said.
The company did not provide details regarding the reason for Johnston's resignation or the effective date of his departure.
Colabor operates as a distributor and wholesaler of food and related products, serving hotel, restaurant and institutional markets in Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, as well as the retail market. The company offers specialty food products including meat, fish and seafood through its operations.
