City Holding Company (NASDAQ: CHCO), a $6.8 billion bank holding company headquartered in Charleston, W.Va., has appointed Jessica Alsop to its Board of Directors, effective immediately, according to a press release.
Alsop will stand for election by shareholders at the company's next annual meeting, scheduled for April 2027. The board expects to recommend her as a Class I director, with a term set to expire at the 2030 annual shareholder meeting.
Alsop has served as senior vice president and chief legal officer of West Virginia University Health System since 2019, having joined the organization in 2015. Before that role, she worked as in-house counsel for Noble Energy and spent 12 years in private practice at Jackson Kelly, where she served on the Executive Committee and chaired the Recruiting Committee.
She holds a Juris Doctor from WVU College of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, in addition to an undergraduate degree from West Virginia University.

City Holding Company is the parent of City National Bank of West Virginia, which operates 95 branches across West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, and Ohio.
