Citius Oncology adds Jonathan Peri to its board of directors

Citius Oncology, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTOR) appointed Jonathan Peri, Ph.D., J.D., as an independent director, effective Aug. 10, 2026, according to a press release. The addition expands the company's board to nine members following a unanimous vote of approval.
Peri currently serves as President of Manor College and previously held the role of Vice President and General Counsel at Neumann University. From 2021 to 2024, he served as lead advisory board director of First State Bank in Texas. He also holds an elected commissioner role with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
Peri earned an undergraduate degree from Villanova University, a law degree from Widener University, and a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University. He also holds a Management and Leadership in Education certificate from Harvard University.
The board determined that Peri qualifies as an independent director under applicable Nasdaq listing standards.
Leonard Mazur, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citius Oncology, said the appointment would "strengthen our Board as we work to deliver long-term value for shareholders and patients" amid the commercial launch of the company's product LYMPHIR.
Citius Oncology is a majority-owned subsidiary of Citius Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXR). LYMPHIR received FDA approval for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory Stage I–III cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and was launched in December 2025.
