China Yuchai director Wu Qiwei resigns from board

China Yuchai International Limited (NYSE: CYD) announced that Wu Qiwei resigned as a director effective October 27. Wu also resigned from the board of the company's main operating subsidiary, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited.
Following Wu's resignation, China Yuchai's board now consists of eight directors, three of whom are independent directors, according to a company statement.
China Yuchai, through its subsidiary Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited, operates as a powertrain solution provider in China. The company designs, manufactures and sells engines for trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine applications.
The company reported selling 356,586 engines in 2024. Founded in 1951, Yuchai distributes its products through regional sales offices and authorized service centers across China and internationally.
