Carolina Rush reappoints Laurie Curtis to board of directors
Carolina Rush Corporation (TSXV: RUSH) (OTCQB: PUCCF) announced the reappointment of Dr. Laurie Curtis to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Curtis brings more than four decades of experience in global exploration and development across gold, copper, uranium, and base metals. He previously served as president, chief executive officer, and chief operating officer of Intrepid Mines Ltd. from 1996 to 2007. He currently serves as non-executive chairman of Excellon Resources.
"As we advance our deep drilling exploration of the Brewer Gold-Copper Project in partnership with OceanaGold, Laurie's return to the Board is both timely and strategic," said Layton Croft, president and CEO. "Laurie brings a wealth of experience and expertise in large-scale exploration, project evaluation, and working alongside large mining companies."
Curtis has held board and senior leadership positions with publicly listed mining companies including Wheaton River Minerals, Homestake Canada, High River Gold Mines, and Breakwater Resources. He previously served on Carolina Rush's board and currently acts as a strategic advisor to the company.
Carolina Rush operates the Brewer Gold-Copper Project in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, located 17 kilometers from the producing Haile Gold Mine. The company also holds mineral exploration agreements for properties in North Carolina's Randolph County.
The information is based on a company press release.
