CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) announced the appointment of Teresa Heitsenrether to its Board of Directors and the departure of Larry Robbins, according to a company press release.

Heitsenrether, Executive Vice President and Chief Data & Analytics Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., will join the board effective Nov. 18, 2026. She brings nearly 40 years of financial services experience, with expertise in data and analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology-driven transformation. She is also a member of JPMorgan Chase's Operating Committee.

Prior to her current role, Heitsenrether held senior positions at JPMorgan Chase, including CEO of Securities Services and Global Head of Prime Brokerage & Equity Financing. She holds an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University.

David Joyner, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of CVS Health, cited her experience in data, analytics, and operational transformation as reasons for her appointment.

Robbins, founder and CEO of Glenview Capital Management, departed the board on Aug. 13, 2026, after serving since 2024. During his tenure, he served on the Audit and Public Policy and External Affairs Committees.

In a statement, Robbins said he and his firm had approached CVS Health two years ago with a proposal to refresh corporate governance and improve operating performance, and described the period as one of "constructive evolution."
