CME Group announces director nominees for 2026 annual meeting

CME Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CME) announced its slate of director candidates for election at the company's annual meeting scheduled for May 14, 2026.

The board recommends that Class A and Class B shareholders elect 14 individuals to the board, including Chairman and CEO Terrence A. Duffy, 67. Other nominees include Kathryn Benesh, a retired Deloitte partner; Timothy S. Bitsberger, former managing director at The TCW Group; and Harold Ford Jr., regional president at PNC Financial Services Group and former congressman.

The slate also includes Charles P. Carey, former CME Group vice chairman; Bryan T. Durkin, former CME Group president; and Rahael Seifu, director of legal at Google LLC. Additional nominees are Martin J. Gepsman, an independent broker and trader; Daniel G. Kaye, retired Ernst & Young partner; and Deborah J. Lucas, finance professor at MIT Sloan School of Management.

The remaining nominees are Phyllis M. Lockett, founder of LEAP Innovations; William R. Shepard, president of Shepard International; Howard J. Siegel, independent trader; and Dennis A. Suskind, retired Goldman Sachs partner.

For Class B shareholders, the nominating committee recommends three directors from Class B-1 shareholders: William W. Hobert of WH Trading LLC, Patrick J. Mulchrone, an independent trader, and Robert J. Tierney Jr. of Kore Trading LLC.

Class B-2 shareholders will elect Patrick W. Maloney, an independent floor broker, while Class B-3 shareholders will elect Elizabeth A. Cook, an independent broker and trader.
