Breker Verification Systems appoints Larry Lapides to advisory board
Breker Verification Systems announced the appointment of Larry Lapides to its advisory board. Lapides previously served as Executive Director of RISC-V Tools Business Development at Synopsys.
According to the company's press release, Lapides joined Synopsys through the acquisition of Imperas Software, where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. He has over 30 years of experience in software tools and electronic design automation, including previous roles at Verisity Design.
"Larry's RISC-V knowledge and his ties to the RISC-V community are welcome additions to Breker and our advisory board," said David Kelf, Breker's CEO.
Lapides holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from UC Berkeley, a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from Cornell University, and an MBA from Clark University.
Breker Verification Systems develops semiconductor verification solutions, including SystemVIP library scenarios for RISC-V and Arm processors. The San Jose, California-based company focuses on functional verification processes for IP block verification and system-on-chip integration.
