Boston Scientific director Sununu will not seek re-election in 2026

Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX) announced that board member John E. Sununu will not stand for re-election at the company's 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

Sununu informed the medical device company of his decision on October 22, 2025. He has served on Boston Scientific's board since April 2009 and currently chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee while serving as a member of the Audit Committee.

The director will continue in his current roles until the 2026 Annual Meeting. The company stated that Sununu's decision was not the result of any disagreement with Boston Scientific.

The board and Nominating and Governance Committee regularly review board composition and will evaluate whether to add new directors following Sununu's departure, according to the company's statement.
