Professor Shechtman is currently a Distinguished Professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and a globally recognized leader in materials science and crystallography. His discovery of quasicrystals revolutionized the field and challenged long-standing paradigms. Beyond his scientific achievements, Professor Shechtman is a passionate advocate for science education and innovation.
