Bakkt appoints macro strategist Lyn Alden to board of directors

Bakkt Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BKKT) announced the appointment of Lyn Alden to its board of directors. Alden is an investor, author, and macro strategist who focuses on the intersection of money and technology.

The appointment follows the recent addition of Mike Alfred to the board. Alden is the founder of Lyn Alden Investment Strategy, a general partner at Ego Death Capital, and serves on the board of Swan Bitcoin. She authored "Broken Money: Why Our Financial System is Failing Us and How We Can Make it Better."

Her insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Bloomberg. Alden has written extensively on Bitcoin, stablecoins, and value transfer across regulated financial networks.
