BD appoints two directors with healthcare and technology expertise

BD (NYSE: BDX) announced the appointment of Robert Huffines and Jacqueline Wright to its board of directors, effective December 1, 2025.



Huffines brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare investment banking. He previously served as global chairman of investment banking at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., where he held various leadership roles including co-head of the global healthcare investment banking group. He currently serves on the board of Insulet Corporation and previously served as a director of Walgreens Boots Alliance until August 2025.



Wright has more than 30 years of experience in technology and digital transformation. She most recently served as chief technology and platform officer at McKinsey & Company. Prior to that, she spent over a decade at Microsoft Corporation in various roles, including chief digital officer for U.S. Business. From 2017 to 2019, she served as chief information and digital officer at HM Revenue and Customs in the United Kingdom.



"Robbie and Jacky will further strengthen the BD board with deep expertise in health care, technology, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, as well as finance and capital markets," said Tom Polen, chairman, CEO and president of BD.



The company stated it has added three new independent directors in 2025, continuing its commitment to board refreshment.



BD is a medical technology company that develops technology, services and solutions for healthcare providers and employs approximately 70,000 people globally.
