Argo Graphene names new board member and interim CEO

Argo Graphene Solutions Corp. (CSE: ARGO, OTCQB: ARLSF, FSE: 94Y) has appointed Dr. Vikas Berry to its board of directors and named Sean McAlpine as interim chief executive officer, according to a company statement.



Dr. Berry is the founder and CEO of Grapherry, Inc., the U.S.-based company that developed the STREAM graphene production technology that Argo has exclusively licensed, with a pathway to full ownership under a previously announced technology agreement. He has authored more than 100 scientific publications and holds multiple patents related to graphene production and advanced materials.



McAlpine, who was already serving as a director of Argo, is a chemical engineer with experience in corporate strategy, manufacturing, and commercialization. The board has initiated a formal search for a permanent CEO. The company also thanked outgoing CEO Scott Smale for his contributions.

Argo is a Canadian company focused on graphene-enhanced technologies for construction, infrastructure, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. The STREAM technology, developed by Dr. Berry, is intended to produce graphene at commercial scale with consistent quality and improved manufacturing economics.
