Apollomics appoints Dr. Ya-Chi Huang to board after director resignation

Apollomics Inc. (NASDAQ: APLM) announced board changes following Po-Jen Hsueh's resignation on November 16, 2025. The company stated Hsueh's departure was not related to any disagreement with the organization.



The board appointed Dr. Ya-Chi (Claudia) Huang to fill the vacancy left by Hsueh's resignation. Huang will serve on the company's Audit Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, replacing Hsueh in those roles.



Following these changes, Apollomics' board comprises seven members: Hung-Wen (Howard) Chen as Chairman, Hong-Jung (Moses) Chen, Yi-Kuei Chen, Hsien-Shu Tsai, Yi-An Chu, Chen-Huan Jan, and Ya-Chi (Claudia) Huang. Five directors are classified as independent: Moses Chen, Hsien-Shu Tsai, Yi-An Chu, Chen-Huan Jan, and Huang.



Huang currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Maxpro Ventures, where she leads investment activities. She joined the firm in 2024 and manages post-investment operations. She also serves as a director of AngenMed Therapeutics.



Previously, Huang worked as Investment Manager at Diamond Biofund, where she participated in the company's 2023 IPO on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Earlier, she served as Deputy Manager in the Research Department at Fubon Securities Investment Services, evaluating over 150 unlisted biotech companies across Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong.



Huang holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from National Taiwan University College of Medicine and an M.S. in Biological Sciences from National Sun Yat-sen University. Her doctoral research on Epstein-Barr virus was published in Blood and received the Distinguished Thesis Prize in the 12th TienTe Lee Biomedical Award.



Apollomics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology therapies. The company's lead program is vebreltinib, a c-Met inhibitor currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for non-small cell lung cancer treatment.
