Ampli Technologies adds Verbit founder Tom Livne to its board
Ampli Technologies, Inc. announced that Tom Livne has joined its Board of Directors, according to a press release from the Miami-based company.
Livne founded Verbit, an AI transcription company that reached a valuation of roughly $2 billion. He also serves as Chairman and CEO of Iron Dome Acquisition I Corp. (Nasdaq: IDACU), which raised $172 million in its initial public offering. Livne is also an existing investor in Ampli's pre-seed round.
In his board role, Livne will advise on governance, partnerships, and scale-up planning as Ampli moves its first fund-manager pilots into production.
Ampli describes itself as a security layer between AI agents and the capital they manage. The company says its system uses four independent security layers to verify and execute agent requests, with the goal of keeping custody of funds with the operator.
"Tom built and scaled an AI company to a multibillion-dollar valuation, and through Iron Dome he is now backing cybersecurity and AI companies coming to the public markets," said Patrick Delaney, Co-Founder and CEO of Ampli. "Tom's operating and public-markets experience will help position Ampli as the standard in security and compliance."
Livne commented on his appointment, saying, "No serious institution will hand money to software it cannot constrain. Ampli builds it into the architecture: the owner keeps custody of the funds and the final say over every agent."
Ampli also states it is a Circle Alliance member and an early design partner for Chainlink's Runtime Environment.
