AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) announced that board member Stephen F. Page will not seek re-election and will retire from the board at the company's 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
Page has served on AeroVironment's board for 13 years. The company's chairman, president and chief executive officer, Wahid Nawabi, credited Page with providing financial discipline and governance oversight during that period.
"Since Steve joined AV's Board 13 years ago, the company has evolved from a pure-play UAS business into a cutting-edge provider of autonomous, space, cyber and directed energy systems," Nawabi said. "Steve's financial discipline and governance rigor were a steady hand through that transformation."
Page said in a statement that it had been a privilege to serve on the board. "I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside my fellow directors and the company's management team as we strengthened the company's position as a leading defense technology innovator," he said.
AeroVironment, based in Arlington, Va., develops autonomous systems, loitering munitions, counter-UAS technologies, and other defense capabilities. The announcement was based on a company press release.
