AZZ adds two board members, names new chairman

AZZ Inc. (NYSE: AZZ) announced the appointment of two new board members and a change in board leadership, according to a company statement.

Aaron Schapper, 52, and Charles Treadway, 60, will join AZZ's board of directors effective April 8, 2026. Schapper currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Myers Industries Inc., a manufacturer of plastic and metal products. He previously held executive positions at Valmont Industries, including group president roles in agriculture and infrastructure divisions.

Treadway serves as president and chief executive officer of Vistance Networks Inc., formerly CommScope Holding Company Inc. He previously served as chief executive officer of Accudyne Industries and held executive positions at Thomas & Betts Corporation, including president and chief executive officer.

Dan Berce succeeded Dan Feehan as chairman of AZZ's board on February 28, 2026. Feehan will continue serving as a board member until his term expires in July 2026, after which the board will comprise eight members.

Following the appointments and Feehan's planned departure, seven of the eight board members will be independent directors. Four board members have been added within the past five years as part of board refreshment initiatives.

The company conducted the director search with assistance from an independent search firm. AZZ provides hot-dip galvanizing and coil coating solutions across various end markets.
