ARMLOGI appoints Maxwell Lin and David Chiu as independent directors
ARMLOGI Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: BTOC) announced the appointment of two new independent directors following the resignation of two existing board members.
Florence Ng and Kwong Sang Liu submitted resignation letters on August 31, 2025, citing personal reasons for their departure from the company's board of directors. Both directors indicated their resignations were not due to disagreements with the company regarding operations, policies or practices.
The board approved the appointments of Maxwell E. Lin and David Chiu as independent directors on the same date, following recommendations from the nominating and corporate governance committee.
Lin brings over 30 years of legal experience to the role. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Soochow University in Taiwan, an MBA from La Verne University in California, and a Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law in California. Since 1989, Lin has served as founder and CEO of the Law Offices of Maxwell E. Lin & Associates, representing clients in business litigation, commercial dealings, international trade disputes and corporate law matters.
Chiu contributes operational and international business expertise to the board. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Victoria in 2001 and a master's degree in business management from California American University. Since 2022, he has served as General Manager of Aonegroup Inc., overseeing import and export activities, wholesale flooring distribution operations and business development initiatives.
"We believe that Mr. Lin's extensive legal background and regulatory expertise, combined with Mr. Chiu's hands-on experience in import/export operations and international trade, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our operations and serve cross-border sellers," said Aidy Chou, Chairman and CEO of ARMLOGI.
