Faroo Launches stPROS, Unlocking Native Liquid Staking Across the Pharos Ecosystem

Faroo, the native liquid staking protocol of the Pharos ecosystem, today officially rolled out stPROS, its flagship liquid staking token (LST). As the inaugural project selected under Pharos' official ecosystem incubation initiative, Faroo has concurrently established day-one entry points across major Web3 wallet ecosystems. The Faroo dApp is now natively integrated and live inside Binance Web3 Wallet and OKX Web3 Wallet, enabling global users to stake PROS with one click and participate in ecosystem liquidity management directly through their preferred wallet's built-in interface-eliminating manual, cumbersome network configurations.

In traditional Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanisms, staking typically entails long lockup periods, restricting capital efficiency. The launch of stPROS resolves this friction: users earn network validation yield while receiving stPROS, a freely transferable liquid token that can be immediately deployed across on-chain financial markets.

Eliminating DeFi Barriers via Exchange-Rate Accrual and Native Fast Redemption

Rather than relying on rebase mechanisms that dynamically adjust token supplies and cause accounting friction across smart contracts, stPROS adopts a yield-bearing exchange-rate model:

• Static Account Balance: A holder's stPROS balance remains constant, completely avoiding accounting distortions and slippage risks during cross-contract settlements across decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and lending protocols.
• Endogenous Yield Accrual: Consensus staking rewards are automatically compounded and reflected in the stPROS-to-PROS exchange rate, meaning each stPROS redeems for an increasing quantity of PROS over time.
• Native Wallet Experience: Leveraged through built-in dApp browsers in Binance Web3 Wallet and OKX Web3 Wallet, users can sign transactions and manage positions securely within their familiar wallet environments.
• Native Fast Redemption: If new minting occurs while redemption orders are being processed, the system prioritizes newly minted shares to fulfill unstaking requests immediately, eliminating the wait for the standard unbonding period.

Late-November Product Matrix Expansion: Introducing tbPROS and Points Incentive System

Launching stPROS is the first step in Faroo's roadmap toward building full-chain yield infrastructure. By late November 2026, the protocol will roll out two core modules:

• RWA Yield Asset (tbPROS): Faroo is exploring the integration of native PoS staking with Real-World Asset (RWA) financial structures, introducing a resilient yield format backed by underlying cash flows for on-chain assets via a Hybrid Yield framework.
