XTEND partners with ParaZero for autonomous drone interception system
JFB Construction Holdings (NASDAQ: JFB) subsidiary XTEND announced a strategic partnership with ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: PRZO) to integrate drone interception capabilities across multiple operational domains.
The partnership combines ParaZero's DefendAir net-launching system with XTEND's Scorpio 1000 drone platform. The integrated system is designed to autonomously detect, track, and capture hostile drones using a physical net deployment system, according to the companies' joint statement.
XTEND's Scorpio 1000 operates on the company's XOS operating system and provides AI-powered autonomous capabilities for air, ground, and maritime missions. The platform features modular design elements that adapt to varying mission requirements.
"We are proud to partner with XTEND, a leader whose drones are proven in real-world operations," said Ariel Alon, ParaZero CEO. "This partnership enables us to offer military users an integrated, autonomous defense solution for safe and effective drone interception in both battlefield and urban environments."
Aviv Shapira, CEO of XTEND, stated: "As warfare becomes increasingly complex and multi-domain, the need for agile, scalable solutions that leverage AI-driven autonomy will only grow."
XTEND reports having deployed over 10,000 systems across more than 30 countries, with operational validation in five combat zones. The company operates manufacturing facilities in the U.S., U.K., Singapore, Israel, and Latvia.
ParaZero, founded in 2014, develops autonomous solutions for manned and unmanned aerial systems. The company's product portfolio includes SafeAir parachute recovery systems, DefendAir counter-drone platforms, and DropAir precision delivery systems.
JFB Construction Holdings operates as a real estate development and construction company providing services across 36 U.S. states.
