XORTX delays share consolidation to April 6 from March 27
XORTX Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: XRTX, TSXV: XRTX) announced it has postponed the implementation date of its share consolidation from March 27, 2026 to April 6, 2026. The consolidation will combine five existing common shares into one new common share.
The Calgary-based pharmaceutical company stated the delay follows its March 25 announcement and remains subject to required approvals from the TSX Venture Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Exchange.

The company has three clinical-stage programs in development: XRx-026 for gout treatment, XRx-008 for autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease, and XRx-101 for acute kidney and organ injury related to respiratory virus infections. The company is also developing XRx-225, a pre-clinical program for Type 2 diabetic nephropathy.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
