Webull Corporation (NASDAQ: BULL) announced the expansion of its cryptocurrency futures offerings through its partnership with Coinbase Derivatives. U.S. users can now trade futures contracts for Dogecoin (DOGE), Nano XRP, Nano Solana, Litecoin (LTC), XRP, and Solana (SOL).
The online investment platform launched futures and commodities trading in March 2024. The company's strategic partnership with Coinbase Derivatives, a futures exchange registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, combines Webull's trading tools with Coinbase's crypto futures offerings.
"Webull users are always looking for smart ways to diversify and manage risk, especially in markets that move as quickly as crypto," said Anthony Denier, Group President and U.S. CEO of Webull.
Boris Ilyevsky, Head of Coinbase Derivatives Exchange, stated the partnership has helped Webull's futures business grow while Coinbase Derivatives reports record volumes and open interest in futures on major crypto assets.
The smaller-size contracts require less margin upfront to open positions, allowing users to select contracts that align with their investment goals. Coinbase Derivatives operates 23 hours a day, six days a week. Real-time market data from Coinbase Derivatives is available free of charge to Webull users.
Webull positions itself among the first retail brokerages to offer access to more than one commodities exchange. Users must open and fund a Futures account to trade crypto futures on the platform.
Webull serves more than 24 million registered users globally across 14 markets in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America, according to the press release statement.
