Weave partners with Synchrony to integrate CareCredit financing platform

Weave (NYSE: WEAV) announced a partnership with Synchrony (NYSE: SYF) to integrate CareCredit patient financing into its healthcare software platform. The integration allows healthcare practice staff to view patient CareCredit status and available funds directly within Weave's system.

The partnership connects Weave's customer experience platform with Synchrony's CareCredit financing solution, enabling front office staff to access patient financing information before appointments. Patients can apply for credit and make payments through Weave's platform or via text-to-pay links.

"By embedding CareCredit's financing intelligence directly into Weave's messaging and payment workflows, we are removing the friction that often prevents patients from moving forward with treatments," said Scott Chandler, VP of Strategic Partnerships at Weave.

Greg Pierce, SVP Network Solutions at Synchrony, stated the integration "creates a more transparent and efficient ecosystem for everyone involved" by combining Weave's communication tools with CareCredit financing capabilities.

According to Weave, 43% of customers using its payment product indicated they would be willing to exclusively use Weave's payment services with the addition of CareCredit integration. The system eliminates the need for staff to switch between multiple platforms when processing patient financing.

Weave provides software solutions for small and medium-sized healthcare businesses, connecting patient interactions from initial contact through final billing. Synchrony operates CareCredit, a patient financing solution for healthcare procedures not fully covered by insurance.
