WISeKey International Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: WKEY) announced that its subsidiaries WISeSat.Space and SEALCOIN AG have entered into a strategic collaboration to deploy machine-to-machine transaction capabilities across WISeSat's satellite infrastructure.

The partnership will integrate SEALCOIN as a transaction and settlement layer within WISeSat satellites, enabling satellites, IoT devices, and connected infrastructure to authenticate, exchange data, and settle transactions autonomously across space-to-ground and space-to-device environments.

The collaboration aims to transform satellite connectivity from a communications service to a transactional digital infrastructure where machines can buy services, sell data, and execute interactions without intermediaries, according to the company's press release.

WISeSat.Space focuses on space technology for secure satellite communication and IoT applications, while SEALCOIN AG develops decentralized physical internet technology and the SEALCOIN platform.

"This partnership demonstrates how satellite infrastructure can evolve the same way telecom networks did, from coverage to commerce," said Carlos Moreira, Founder and CEO of WISeKey. "By embedding secure identity and decentralized settlement directly into satellites, we move beyond connectivity and toward infrastructure that can autonomously transact, authenticate, and enforce trust."

Jonathan Llamas, Chief Product and Strategy Officer at SEALCOIN AG, stated that the integration supports the platform roadmap where the QAIT token serves as a utility to access services and execute transactions across terrestrial and space-based networks.

The collaboration targets use cases including remote and off-grid IoT, critical infrastructure, smart energy, global asset tracking, and communications in regions with limited terrestrial connectivity.

This partnership aligns with WISeKey Group's strategy to transition from product-based cybersecurity offerings toward service-based, transactional digital infrastructure spanning secure semiconductors, digital identity, satellite connectivity, and decentralized platforms.
