WISeKey confirms QAIT token integration on SEALCOIN platform
WISeKey International Holding Ltd. (NASDAQ: WKEY) confirmed that the QAIT token will serve as the utility token for its SEALCOIN platform. The QAIT token began trading on cryptocurrency exchanges including Binance, KuCoin, Gate.io, and MEXC on May 28, 2026.
The SEALCOIN platform enables machine-to-machine transactions, allowing connected devices to identify, authenticate, and transact without human intervention. The platform uses decentralized trust technologies, digital identities, and secure transaction protocols.
The QAIT token is issued by the Switzerland-based QAIT Association, which operates independently from WISeKey and manages the token's governance framework. SEALCOIN serves as the technology platform that utilizes the token for transaction functions within its ecosystem.
The platform targets applications across smart cities, industrial IoT, connected vehicles, robotics, healthcare devices, energy infrastructure, logistics, and satellite communications. Potential use cases include autonomous vehicles paying charging stations directly and industrial equipment procuring services automatically.
"The launch of QAIT is an important milestone for the trusted digital infrastructure being developed across the WISeKey Group," said Carlos Moreira, founder and CEO of WISeKey.
WISeKey operates through several subsidiaries including SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES), which focuses on semiconductors and post-quantum technology, and SEALCOIN AG, which develops the SEALCOIN platform. The company has deployed over 1.6 billion microchips across various IoT sectors.
