WISeKey and SEALSQ launch WISeRobot.ch platform with post-quantum security

May 20, 2026 5:12 AM EDT

WISeKey International Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: WKEY) and its subsidiary SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) announced the launch of the WISeRobot.ch platform and product roadmap for a robotics system that integrates human-centric artificial intelligence with post-quantum cryptographic technology.

The platform serves as a central hub for the WISeRobot ecosystem, providing information on product capabilities, deployment use cases, and partnership opportunities. The system combines WISeKey's digital identity and cybersecurity technology with SEALSQ's post-quantum semiconductors and public key infrastructure.

WISeRobot was demonstrated at the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2026, where it was featured at CNBC Davos and at a company roundtable. The demonstration included a proof of concept integrating SEALSQ's post-quantum cryptographic technology into a robotics environment, showing secure digital identity and protected communications.

SEALSQ is developing quantum-resistant algorithms and hardware-based security measures at the silicon, firmware, and system levels for AI-driven and autonomous systems in sectors including government, healthcare, and smart infrastructure.

"As robotics and AI are rapidly becoming part of our critical infrastructure, ensuring long-term security is essential," said Carlos Moreira, Chairman and CEO of WISeKey. "By testing post-quantum technology in robotics and bringing this first P.O.C., our aim is to demonstrate how trust, security, and human-centric values can be embedded into intelligent machines from the very beginning."

The roadmap includes development of conversational AI capabilities, expanded enterprise applications, and deeper integration of post-quantum security technologies. WISeKey reports having over 1.6 billion microchips deployed across various Internet of Things sectors.
