Vivid Seats introduces price matching guarantee program

Vivid Seats Inc. (NASDAQ: SEAT) announced the launch of its Lowest Price Guarantee program, which promises to match competitor prices and provide additional compensation to customers who find lower-priced tickets elsewhere.

Under the new program, customers who find identical tickets at lower prices on qualifying competitor sites will receive a price match from Vivid Seats. Additionally, eligible customers will receive 115% of the price difference in Vivid Seats site credit, according to the company's announcement.

The ticket marketplace platform launched a national marketing campaign with ESPN, its official ticketing partner, to promote the new guarantee program. The campaign includes content across Disney streaming platforms and high-impact placements on ESPN's sports pages covering NFL, MLB, NBA and NCAA Football.

"The launch of our Lowest Price Guarantee doubles down on our commitment to strengthening our differentiated value proposition, giving fans unmatched value and transparency when buying tickets," said Stan Chia, CEO of Vivid Seats.

The guarantee program joins existing customer features including Vivid Seats Rewards loyalty program, Game Center in-app gaming hub, and all-in pricing that displays total ticket costs upfront. The rewards program allows customers to earn credits on purchases, while Game Center offers daily games where users can win credits and tickets.

Vivid Seats operates as a marketplace connecting ticket buyers with sellers across live events. The Chicago-based company was founded in 2001 and went public in 2021.
