Valerio Therapeutics appoints Professor Eric Vivier as board observer

Valerio Therapeutics (Euronext Growth Paris: ALVIO) announced the appointment of Professor Eric Vivier as an observer to its board of directors. The company said his nomination as a director will be submitted to shareholders at its next general meeting.

Professor Vivier works at Aix Marseille University and Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Marseille and serves as a professor at École Polytechnique. He leads an immunology research group at the Centre d'Immunology de Marseille-Luminy and has received recognition from the European Research Council and various research awards.

Vivier holds membership in the French National Academy of Medicine and is listed among Highly Cited Researchers, a ranking of influential scientists.

"Eric's participation on Valerio's board is a real opportunity for the company," said Julien Miara, chief executive officer of Valerio Therapeutics. "Eric Vivier is a world-renowned immunologist, and he will bring us over 30 years of academic and industrial experience."

Professor Vivier stated he will focus on oncology strategy and developing approaches for treating cancers with significant medical needs. "The technologies developed by the Company are extremely promising and have a very broad range of applications," he said.
