Universal Music Group repurchases 1.1 million shares under €500M buyback
Universal Music Group N.V. (EURONEXT: UMG) repurchased 1,115,725 of its own shares between June 29 and July 3, 2026, at an average price of €18.46 per share, for a total consideration of €20,592,409.
The transactions are part of the company's €500 million share buyback program announced on March 30, 2026. Through July 3, 2026, UMG has repurchased a cumulative total of 25,973,012 shares for €485,810,758 under the program.
The disclosure was made in connection with reporting obligations under EU Market Abuse Regulation and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052.
