United Rentals Inc. (NYSE: URI) and Procore Technologies (NYSE: PCOR) announced a telematics integration that allows shared customers to access United Rentals rental equipment data directly within Procore's Resource Management solution.
The integration enables customers to connect their United Rentals account within the Resource Management platform to automatically sync rented equipment records and telematics data into existing workflows. This provides a centralized view for managing both owned and rented equipment.
"Access to accurate, real-time equipment data is essential for running efficient and productive jobsites," said Tony Leopold, Chief Technology and Strategy Officer at United Rentals. "By integrating United Rentals telematics data into Procore, we're extending visibility into rental equipment within a platform many of our customers already use every day."
The integration aims to address what the companies describe as the industry's "resource gap" between office planning and jobsite execution. Customers gain unified visibility of equipment, labor and materials to support planning, tracking and forecasting activities.
"By integrating United Rentals telematics directly into Procore Resource Management, we're providing total orchestration for both owned and rented fleets in one place," said Steve Davis, President of Product & Technology at Procore.
The integration supports recommendations for resource deployment optimization and is designed to help customers maximize productivity and asset utilization across construction projects.
The United Rentals telematics integration is available to mutual customers through Procore's Resource Management solution and can be accessed via the Procore App Marketplace.
United Rentals operates 1,663 rental locations in North America, along with locations in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Procore's platform is used across construction projects in more than 150 countries.
