US and Iran near arrangement, says Pakistan defense minister
Investing.com -- Pakistan's defense minister Khawaja Asif said on Tuesday that the US and Iran are approaching an arrangement, with signals from recent days pointing toward progress.
"Things are shaping up again in favor of a peace arrangement or a deal," Asif told Bloomberg News in Islamabad. "The signals in the last two three days are that we are close to some sort of an arrangement."
Asif added that a lasting peace would serve the region's interests.
