UMG repurchases 3.5 million shares in latest €500M buyback update
Universal Music Group N.V. (Euronext: UMG) repurchased 3,573,737 of its own shares between June 22 and June 26, 2026, at an average price of €18.32 per share, for a total consideration of €65,475,330.
The transactions are part of a €500 million share buyback program the company announced on March 30, 2026. Through June 26, 2026, UMG has repurchased a cumulative total of 24,857,287 shares under the program for a total consideration of €465,218,349.
The company publishes weekly updates on the progress of the buyback program on its investor relations website.
