Tron Inc. changes ticker symbol to TRON on NASDAQ
Tron Inc. (NASDAQ: TRON) announced its ticker symbol changed from "SRM" to "TRON" on July 17, 2025. The company's CUSIP number remains unchanged at 85237B101.
The ticker change follows the company's launch of a Tron-focused treasury strategy and represents alignment with the Tron blockchain ecosystem. "The Company's ticker change to 'TRON' reinforces its brand identity and positions it as a key corporate player in the rapidly evolving blockchain and digital asset economy," said Rich Miller, CEO.
Tron Inc., formerly SRM Entertainment, operates as a publicly traded company with blockchain-integrated treasury strategies. The company states it holds the largest amount of TRON (TRX) tokens among public companies. Through a wholly owned subsidiary, the company also designs, develops and manufactures custom merchandise including toys and souvenirs for theme parks and entertainment venues.
The company's products are distributed at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Universal Parks and Destinations, United Parks and Resorts – SeaWorld, Six Flags and other attractions. Many products are based on entertainment franchises featured in movies and books.
The TRON blockchain, founded in 2017, is a decentralized blockchain supporting smart contracts and decentralized applications. According to the company, TRON hosts approximately $81.7 billion in US dollar stablecoins as of July 13, 2025.
