Thomson Reuters Corporation (TSX/NASDAQ: TRI) announced Oct. 1 that it has closed the sale of a majority stake in its Global Print business to capital accounts advised by KKR (NYSE: KKR).
The divested business now operates as Westbridge Print, an independent company serving legal and tax professionals across 13 countries. Westbridge Print also provides commercial printing services to book publishers in markets including trade, government, faith-based organizations, universities, and children's books, with customers primarily in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Thomson Reuters had previously announced the transaction in July 2026. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in the press release.
Thomson Reuters said the transaction allows the company to focus on AI solutions for the legal, tax, audit, and compliance industries.
