Surf Air Mobility signs first external OperatorOS deal with Sprintbach

Surf Air Mobility Inc. (NYSE: SRFM) has signed a definitive agreement with Sprintbach Aviation to deploy its OperatorOS flight operations software, marking the product's first commercial contract with an external operator.

OperatorOS is built on technology from Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR) and is designed to manage aircraft and crew scheduling, flight management, reporting, and distribution for Part 135 charter operators. Surf Air Mobility said it will earn a percentage of revenue from all Sprintbach flights managed through the software.

The company said the agreement contributes to its goal of having five operators live on the OperatorOS platform by the end of 2026. Sprintbach currently operates nine aircraft with 16 pilots on staff.

OperatorOS has been used internally to run Surf Air Mobility's airline operations, Southern Airways and Mokulele Airlines, since 2025. The Federal Aviation Administration recently approved it as an authorized system of record for electronic signatures and recordkeeping.

Liam Fayed, co-founder of Surf Air Mobility, said: "OperatorOS has already proven efficiencies within our own airline operations, and we are now bringing this software to operators across the industry."

Mark Hankinson, president of Sprintbach Aviation, said the company had already observed OperatorOS in use through its existing relationship flying for Surf On Demand. "We're glad to be the first external operator on the platform," he added.

OperatorOS is one of three products within Surf Air Mobility's SurfOS software suite, alongside BrokerOS and OwnerOS, which are intended to connect brokers, operators, and aircraft owners on a single platform.
