Surf Air Mobility Inc. (NYSE: SRFM) signed a definitive agreement with Air Fuga as its third OperatorOS customer in less than two weeks, the company announced. The agreement follows recent contracts with Sprintbach Aviation and SkyDance Air. Under the terms, Surf Air Mobility will earn a percentage of revenue for all flights managed through the OperatorOS software.
The company also named Barrett Brown as President of SurfOS, effective September 30, 2026. Brown previously served as Head of Asia at Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR). In his new role, he will focus on expanding commercial contracts, growing software revenue, and deploying AI optimization tools built on Palantir's AIP and Foundry platforms.
Palantir's partnership with Surf Air Mobility includes forward-deployed engineering resources and joint go-to-market efforts targeting the Part 135 regional aviation segment. As part of the arrangement, Palantir will receive 4,644,922 shares of Surf Air Mobility common stock as payment for continued access to Palantir software and services.
The partnership is also focused on accelerating development of OwnerOS, a SurfOS product designed to give aircraft owners and fleet management companies visibility into aircraft utilization and maintenance planning. SurfOS's three flagship products — BrokerOS, OperatorOS, and OwnerOS — are intended to connect brokers, operators, and aircraft owners on a single platform.
"Barrett's appointment as President of SurfOS is an important step as SurfOS moves into commercial deployment," said Kevin Kawasaki, Global Head of Business Development at Palantir.
Shawn Pelsinger, Chairman of the Board of Surf Air Mobility, said the company is in a position to scale following its accelerated pace of new software contracts. Surf Air Mobility is based in Los Angeles and operates one of the largest commuter airlines in the United States by scheduled departures, according to the company.
