Square integrates Apple Business Connect into its seller dashboard

September 24, 2026 9:01 AM EDT

Square announced an integration with Apple Business that allows Square sellers to manage their Apple Maps presence directly from Square Dashboard, according to a statement from Block, Inc. (NYSE: SQ).

The integration enables sellers to synchronize business details — including hours, address, and phone number — across Apple Maps, Siri AI, Apple Wallet, and other Apple apps without manual updates on each platform. Sellers can also add action links to their Apple Maps place cards, such as options for ordering, delivery, booking, or scheduling appointments.

The integration is available to Square sellers in Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In the U.S. and Canada, eligible business-verified Square sellers without an existing Apple Business account can enroll directly from Square Dashboard.

Apple data cited in the press release indicates that claimed locations receive 30% more views on Apple Maps, and that action links increase clickthrough rates by 31% across website, call, and action buttons.

"With six locations and a menu that changes often, keeping every listing accurate used to be a constant chore," said Christopher Tompkins, founder of Broad Street Oyster Co. "Now it all runs from one dashboard and syncs to the platforms we use automatically, Apple Maps included."

Morgan Kuntze, Global Partnerships Lead at Block, said: "This integration means our sellers don't have to choose between running their business and keeping every channel updated. Once connected in Square, your presence across Apple stays accurate and syncs automatically."

Square noted that additional Apple Business features, including place card engagement metrics and peer group benchmarks, are planned for future releases. The company also noted existing integrations with ChatGPT and Claude as part of its broader discovery strategy for sellers.
