South Star Battery Metals Corp. (TSXV: STS) (OTCQB: STSBF) increased its non-brokered private placement from C$6.26 million to C$6.67 million due to market demand, according to a company statement.

The expanded offering will consist of up to 44.48 million units priced at C$0.15 each. Each unit includes one common share and one warrant allowing the purchase of an additional share at C$0.20 within five years of closing.

Proceeds will fund exploration and development activities, general administrative expenses, and working capital. Securities issued carry a four-month and one-day hold period under applicable securities laws.

The Vancouver-based company develops battery metals projects in the Americas. Its Santa Cruz Graphite Project in Brazil began commercial production with first sales in May 2025. South Star also holds the BamaStar Project in Alabama, which includes a historic mine and planned processing facilities.
