Sony Electronics launches Crystal LED S Series displays
Sony Electronics Inc. announced the Crystal LED S Series, two new direct-view LED display models targeting the mid-market segment. The ZRD-S12G and ZRD-S15G feature 800 cd/m² maximum brightness with 1.25mm and 1.56mm pixel pitch respectively.
The displays are designed for corporate settings, educational institutions, and commercial facilities. Both models incorporate Anti-Reflection Surface Technology and measure approximately 45mm thick, representing a 35% reduction in depth compared to previous models.
"The S Series furthers Sony's longstanding commitment to offering advanced technology with high image quality, exceptional visibility, flexible integration capabilities, and long-term reliability," said Rich Ventura, Vice President of Professional Display Solutions at Sony Electronics.
The displays support integration with NovaStar's COEX series MX30 and MX40 Pro controllers, allowing cabinet-to-controller distances up to 100 meters. The models feature pre-calibrated modules and surface protection designed to prevent accidental contact.
The Crystal LED S Series supports modular, scalable configurations with bezel-free design for seamless video wall construction. The displays are planned for availability in late spring 2026.
Sony Electronics will display the Crystal LED S Series at Integrate Systems Europe in Barcelona from February 3-6, 2026, and at InfoComm in Las Vegas from June 17-19, 2026.
Sony Electronics is a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America and affiliate of Sony Group Corporation (Tokyo: 6758), headquartered in San Diego, California.
